Meet Dana
I spend most of my time behind the computer or nose-deep in a good book, but I can also be spotted at bookish events around Los Angeles. I enjoy a good thrift store, a gluten-free treat (looking at you, Modern Bread & Bagel), and cozy nights in with my husband and our two dogs.
I've spent the last few years reading widely and deeply in the genres I write in. I have a YA Sci-Fi novel as well as an Adult Speculative Fiction Romance novel under my belt, and I'm excited to keep exploring the Adult Romance space with my next novel. As both a short- and long-form writer, I have the itch to create impactful work in any medium.
My tastes vary widely, and I see my writing career crossing into multiple genres, including Adult Romance, Upmarket Fiction, Young Adult Sci-Fi, and Middle Grade Speculative Fiction.

Building A Community
I've spent the last few years sharing uplifting and humorous book-related content on social media and building a growing community of women who meet monthly for a virtual book club. We're a revolving door for readers to come and share their love of reading.
Every month we discover new reads, fall in love with old ones, or share in the insanity of a book no one quite expected... we've had a few of those. Regardless of what we read, our discussions are like FaceTimeing an old friend---chaotic, but ultimately hilarious.

A Snapshot Of My Life
I think our life deeply informs our writing. For me, I'm currently living my best life with my husband and our two dogs in the Golden State. However, as someone struggling with chronic illness and more tragedy than you can shake a stick at in my past, I find myself weaving in both the dark and the light in my work.
If we don't laugh, we'll cry, and boy, oh boy, do I have more jokes to tell.
